The City of Thousand Oaks is dedicated to maintaining a clean, healthy community.  The Free Landfill and Disposal Day gives Thousand Oaks residents a chance to dispose of excess trash at the Simi Valley Landfill free of charge.

Program Guidelines:

  • Open to Thousand Oaks residents only - I.D. is required.
  • Be prepared to unload your own materials.
  • No entry after 1 p.m.
  • No commercial vehicles, waste or materials from landscaping companies will be accepted.

Materials Not Accepted:

No hazardous waste of any kind will be accepted, including the following:

  • Liquids
  • Paints
  • Asbestos
  • Tires on rims
  • Computers, televisions and other electronic waste
